morning time –
and you are only a dream away
the beauty in your smile –
the softness in your touch –
the warmth in your eyes –
I feel these all upon me
as though it really were

afternoon –
the time is passing
and my mind opens once again
the treasure chest of memories
cherished moments spent with you

evening time –
I sit, staring into the emptiness
wishing you were there
And in my fantasies I see
the light playing gently upon your face
shimmering, reflecting and radiating your magic
to every corner of the room

day’s end
I find myself hoping
never to be denied
the pleasures of your friendship
