not another piece of
a clean and tidy world
where all the pictures
have meanings
and all the thoughts
are consistent

not an agreeable presentation
to greet the mind
with the embellished
simplicities and niceties
that are always so pleasing
to see or hear

not just another idea that
quickly and comfortably
finds its way into the
observer's mind, on its way
to the same pointless
obscurity that all its
predecessors have found

and still we find the
incessant outpouring, the
sameness, the reincarnations
that are mere repititions

perhaps 'much of the same'
is for 'many of the same'

only the few, who exist
where things are different
can ignore the flaws
of an education that
pushes them to exist where
things are the same
